Explore the joy of weaving on a small hand loom in this fast and fun, make-and-take tapestry project. Watch the magic happen as you work the yarns in the simple over and under process of weaving.
Skills: Participants will learn weaving vocabulary, the basics of weaving while keeping straight edges, how to blend colors harmoniously, add textures with loops and fringe and eliminate loose ends to finish off your tapestry beautifully.
Choose from a curated collection of colorful and textural yarns to create an art piece of your own design to hang on your wall. Individualized instructions provided – weave at your own pace! All tools and materials are available for your use: small hand looms, weaving tools, scissors, and beautiful yarns to ignite your creativity.

Pamela Palma Designs, a professional fiber art studio for 40+ years, offers workshops on hand looms, rigid heddle looms, 4-shaft counterbalance looms, and 8-shaft jack looms.
My studio locations have included Oolite Arts on Miami Beach, the Bakehouse Art Complex in the City of Miami, and the Cherokee County Arts Council in Murphy, North Carolina.
As well, I travel to offsite arts organizations such as NSU Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, Perez Art Museum Miami, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Krelwear at IronSide Miami, ArtBox Miami, and Stitch Buffalo.
